Butler, PA is Trending
And, of all people, Tucker and MTG are suggesting the incident was staged
At the start of the Wikipedia timeline on the “Attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania” page, it reads:
“On July 13, the day of the assassination attempt, Crooks bought a five-foot (1.5-meter) ladder before driving to the site of the rally in the morning.”
Why that entry continues to exist, or why it ever did, or when it will vanish, are all unknown to me. BUT, at some point, the ladder(s) were relevant to the incident.
I posted on the “ladder” anomaly mere days after Butler happened; Link below:
Boiling it down, I found the early reporting and details confusing, at best.
Highlights from that July 18 post:
Police said Crooks drove to the rally in a Hyundai Sonata: Gov’t sources said it was a white van, AZ plates; The same van, post-shooting, was filmed being towed from a location a mile from the parking lot near the rally venue.
Hardware store receipts show Crooks bought a five-foot ladder just before the shooting. Such a ladder could be transported in a van or atop a Sonata, yet a kid trundling a ladder across a parking lot next to the President’s podium?
Yet, there WERE images and videos of a ladder leaning up against the building from which roof Crooke is said to have fired; Clearly between eight and twelve feet long, not extendable – NOT the five-footer on the Home Depot receipt.
Weirder, rally bystander pix and videos of the kid on the roof just before the shooting show NO ladder IN THE SAME SPOT.
Perhaps the narrative wasn’t fully ripe at showtime…
…But, two people were killed. Another pair maimed.
Their families are still clamoring for explanations of what happened that day
IF the incident WAS what it is purported to have been, those victims were tragic collateral damage.
More - and very - disturbing, if the incident WAS staged, the victims may well have been coldly-damned to serve as props to give the farce legitimacy.
The latter scenario should be inconceivable.
I hope that it was.
I’ve always wondered how some of the wilder conspiracy theories persist when consideration is given to the virtual-impossibility of preserving a farce with countless moving parts and people, particularly in the digital age.
The regime has an opportunity to leverage the suggestions of a “Butler hoax” being pushed by likes of Tucker and MTG to answer the multitude of questions posed by the victims’ families, and others, and put to bed thoughts of conspiracy.
I mean, why wouldn’t they?
