Revisiting Horrors to Come
Stand...
The illegitimate regime in Washington is deploying carefully-curated troops against American cities of the “blue” persuasion.
That same corrupt regime is building concentration camps across our Republic, with special satellite versions in foreign prison hell-holes.
It’s going to get worse before it gets better.
As of yet, the latter-day Gestapo known as ICE, which is rapidly recruiting psychopaths to its goon squad, remains focused (publicly, mind you) on brown people, encouraging and capitalizing on the intolerance and racism of the MAGA masses to inure them to the savagery to come.
At the same time, their next phase is already underway.
The criminal enterprise DOGE is known to have harvested the personal data and identifiable information of hundreds of millions of Americans. Parsing through that data is well-underway.
”Dissidents” are being identified.
It’s only a matter of time before they are corralled, ghetto’d, box-car’d, disappeared and/or offed.
Inconceivable.
Or it should be.
Hyperbole?
It should be.
It’s not.
I read an article recently about Otto Frank’s 1960 return to the concealed attic space accessed behind a bookcase at a house at Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam; The cramped sanctuary in which Otto and his wife Edith and two daughters Anne and Margot hid from the Nazis for two years during WW2.
They were among the “lucky;” They got two extra years together as a family that millions did not enjoy.
Only Otto survived the Holocaust.
It’s not terribly difficult to imagine such terrors. But to experience them? Inconceivable.
And yet, here we fucking are.
Otto didn’t know what was coming, because Nazi obscenities were, indeed, inconceivable; Practicing inhumanity is, generally, beyond conception for those of us that are sane.
Yet, a significant percentage of our current population is anticipating civil conflict, and in the context of promoting – even celebrating - terror and suffering.
These people – MAGA, they call themselves – are largely ignorant of the past and increasingly detached from current reality.
The cabal at the top are perversely dedicated to hate, violence, abuse and the end of our Republic in favor of an authoritarian nightmare which they intend to rule.
Our Republic has escaped such insanity in the past, whether in terms of our bloody civil war or, later, in the context of Nazi-friendly fascism in the 1930s, which was only inadvertently stifled by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, which nevertheless gave birth to American concentration camps.
The irony.
If the regime’s leader is NOT soon 25th’d:
· True patriots will be arrested, tortured, disappeared, murdered by the regime.
· There will be attics.
· There will be resistance.
· We WILL prevail.
· But it will be ugly.
Otto stood stoic in that photo, captured between past and present, a witness to survival, and to tragedy.
Recalling.
Surviving.
Americans may well soon be introduced to Nazi-era madness, indeed, sooner than we may think, should we not upend the regime currently undoing our Republic.
I’m uncertain whether the obscene MAGA train to Hell can be stopped. I worry our Republic’s violent fall will come at MAGA hands. I fear we’re approaching calamity the likes of which we’ve never experienced.
